We started Hahn Software in 2008, after the iPhone was announced. We were already proficient in Objective-C, Foundation, and AppKit from our work on Mr. Tides, so it was natural for us to write a tides app for the iPhone. Hence Mr. Tides became AyeTides, which became AyeTides XL for the iPad, and now we're rewritten a lot of Mr. Tides to make AyeTides for the Mac.
